30-day returns

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your order for a full refund — no reason needed. This is more generous than your minimum legal right to cancel under UK law, so by offering 30 days, we already cover that requirement in full.

What condition the item needs to be in

You’re welcome to open the packaging and check the item the way you would in a physical shop. If it comes back showing signs of use beyond this — for example, worn, installed, or damaged — we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the reduction in value. We’ll always explain clearly why, and how much, before finalising any deduction.

How to return an item

  1. Email support@sgislandcart.com within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. We’ll confirm the process and give you a returns address.
  3. Pack the item securely, ideally in its original packaging, and send it back.
  4. Once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund you to your original payment method within 7 days.

If something arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect

This isn’t limited to the 30-day window. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, and we’ll cover the return cost in full — you won’t be out of pocket. Contact us within 30 days of delivery for the fastest resolution; your legal rights for faulty goods continue beyond this period too.

Items we cannot accept for return

For hygiene and safety reasons, items that have been opened, used, or are not in resaleable condition cannot be returned unless faulty. Items marked “Final Sale” at purchase are also excluded unless faulty.

Your rights are not limited by this policy

Nothing here reduces your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If anything in this policy conflicts with your legal rights, your legal rights take priority.
