Shipping Policy
Free standard shipping, everywhere in the UK
We keep shipping simple: every order ships free, with no minimum spend required, anywhere in the United Kingdom.
Delivery timeline
- Processing time: 1–2 business days to prepare your order before it ships.
- Delivery time: 1–7 business days once dispatched.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
How you’ll know where your order is
Once your order ships, we’ll email you tracking information so you can follow its progress right up to your door.
One shipping option, for everyone
We currently offer a single shipping method — free standard delivery — for all orders and all UK postcodes. There’s no express or next-day option at this time, so the 1–7 business day window applies across the board.
If your delivery is taking longer than expected
If it’s been more than 7 business days since dispatch and your order hasn’t arrived, contact us at support@sgislandcart.com or +44 1372 463099 with your order number, and we’ll look into it with the courier right away.
Return & Refund
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your order for a full refund — no reason needed. This is more generous than your minimum legal right to cancel under UK law, so by offering 30 days, we already cover that requirement in full.
What condition the item needs to be in
You’re welcome to open the packaging and check the item the way you would in a physical shop. If it comes back showing signs of use beyond this — for example, worn, installed, or damaged — we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the reduction in value. We’ll always explain clearly why, and how much, before finalising any deduction.
How to return an item
- Email support@sgislandcart.com within 30 days of delivery, with your order number and the reason for return.
- We’ll confirm the process and give you a returns address.
- Pack the item securely, ideally in its original packaging, and send it back.
- Once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund you to your original payment method within 7 days.
If something arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect
This isn’t limited to the 30-day window. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, and we’ll cover the return cost in full — you won’t be out of pocket. Contact us within 30 days of delivery for the fastest resolution; your legal rights for faulty goods continue beyond this period too.
Items we cannot accept for return
For hygiene and safety reasons, items that have been opened, used, or are not in resaleable condition cannot be returned unless faulty. Items marked “Final Sale” at purchase are also excluded unless faulty.
Your rights are not limited by this policy
Nothing here reduces your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If anything in this policy conflicts with your legal rights, your legal rights take priority.

About this item
- 🎯【WORKING LONG HOURS AT A DESK?】Designed for daily home-office work, study and computer desk use. The breathable mesh backrest and the large lumbar cushion cradle your spine and support your whole lower back. A 10 cm contoured seat reduces pressure on your thighs and holds its shape through long sitting sessions. Comfortable from morning standup to end-of-day calls.
- 🎯【LUMBAR & HEADREST THAT FIT YOUR BODY】The padded 22 × 22 cm lumbar support panel covers a wider area than the basic plastic supports on most office chairs, sliding 5 cm vertically to your exact lower-back spot. The 7 cm height-adjustable headrest meets your neck where it needs support during long sits.
- 🎯【SHORT ON DESK SPACE?】Soft padded armrests support your elbows and forearms while typing, then rotate up 90° so the chair slides fully under most desks, even low fixed-height ones, freeing up room space. PU silent castors roll on hardwood, laminate, tile and carpet without scratching or the rumble that distracts on video calls.
- 🎯【HEAVY DUTY BUILT TO LAST】Reinforced steel 5-star base and SGS Class 3 gas lift support users up to 150 kg / 330 lb. A heavy duty steel tilt mechanism reclines the backrest with adjustable tension and locks at 97°, 106° and 115° — work upright or recline for a proper break. TÜV tested to BIFMA and EN 1335 standards.
- 🎯【BACKED FOR 5 YEARS, GAS LIFT FOR 10】Your whole chair is backed by a 5-year warranty with free replacement of any part: armrest, seat, castor, backrest or mechanism. The gas lift gets a full 10 years — it’s the hardest-working part on any office chair, so we back it the longest. Always a real UK person helps you sort it, never a bot. 30-day free returns if it’s not the comfort you hoped for.
